Receive the guest at Chennai. Transfer you to hotel. After noon ,
half day sight seeing. Gandhi Memorial, Kala kshetra, Mylapore temple and Marina beach. Back to hotel for over night stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Thirupathi
(160 km -4 hrs). Lord Venketeswara temple in the top of Thirumala hills(860 mtrshieght). After Darshan come back to chennai for over night
stay.
After breakfast proceed to Kanchipuram 80 km 2 hour drive.
City of 1000 temples.Famous Siva temple. After noon, drive to Mamallapuram, sea shore town. Evening sightseeing. Check in to hotel for over
night stay.
Mamallapuram to Thiruvannamalai. 115 km and 3 hour drive. Famous
Siva temple. Afternoon proceed to Pondichery. 130 km and 3.5 hour drive.
After breakfast drive to visit Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn,
which is 10kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as
to unite the spirit and matter. After lunch at hotel, visit Auroville - a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new
environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony.
Pondichery to Chidambaram. 70 km and 1.5 hour drive. Which has the
famous Nataraja temple with the root of the sanctum-sanctorum covered with golden plates is located in the centre of the town covering
an area of 40 acres. Chidambaram to tanjore. 105 km and 3 hours drive. Enroute visiting the brass factory at Kumbakonam.Tanjore once the
capital of cholakings, has the brahadeswara temple. Over night in the hotel.
Chidambaram to Trichy. 55 km and 2 hours drive. Trichurapalli,
situated on the banks of Kaveri river is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim centre, it is famous for Ranganath temple at
Srirangam. Overnight in the hotel.
Trichy to Madurai. 135 km and 3.5 hour drive. Meenakshi temple,
King tirumala's palace, great tank and Gandhi museum.
Madurai to Rameswaram. 155 km and 4 hour drive. Ramanathaswamy
temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. Back to Madurai for return journey.
